The OpenGL implementations are usually shit on Android. (I do admit the sound support is a mess, but I thought newer API versions improved it?) Gingerbread and later support NativeActivity, so unless you need native look+feel GUI there's no need to write Java. Usually one blits to a textured OpenGL quad. > I don't think any modern OS allows true direct framebuffer access. Compatibility is way too small to warrant a release anyways. I have no idea when i'll release it yet though. And if it did i'd probably get overwhelmed and quit.īut whenever I do, its going to be open source and free. I don't wanna release it yet because I'd rather not have it get too popular like PPSSPP. I'm also only working on games I actually own since I want to compare and make sure it runs exactly like the regular hardware.Īnd I just picked up a pack of 15 games off of ebay so when that gets here, i'll be working on them. NiGHTS Into Dreams (Runs a lot smoother than Yabause)Īlbert Odyssey(Music sounds a lot nicer on mine than yabause and more like the real hardware) Its not as high as Yabause however it does run a few games better and some games Yabause can't.īeyond Oasis (Some Minor texture issues, being fixed)

I've been basically just going to work, coming home, and coding. Its been coded by myself with the very small help sometimes by a few friends in C++. Nothing has been released about it until now. I've been secretly, working on a Saturn emulator. I figure i'd might as well just release a little info now. /lgbt/ - Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender.
